I have a copy of the screensaver.
Can you upload it somewhere and post a link? (I've also sent you a PM.)
3  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / Anyone still got a copy of the Official ELO - Zoom Screensaver? on: Aug 15, 2013, 09:20
I lost my personal copy, when my computer got infected about 5 years ago. The screensaver was a computer generated animation of ELO Spaceship randomly flying through the night sky.

For those who don't know, it accompanied the Zoom album marketing campaign and was available as a free download from www.elomusic.com site back in 2001-2003 or so. I have tried navigating the site through The Wayback Machine, but the archived pages do not load all they way, so without a direct link or even filename to use as reference, that seems to be a dead end.

If anyone still has a copy and can provide a link, or any other means of sending over a copy, i would appreciate it.
4  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / SURRENDER TO ELO on: Sep 19, 2006, 06:04

5  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: ELO thoughts from a relatively new poster on: Jul 08, 2006, 10:16
Jeff never did drugs.

Jeff just happens to be a God, and that's just how he's able to do the impossible :-)
6  ELOFANS.COM / ELO Audio and Video / Freedom City Pandemonium (San Francisco Live) on: Jun 30, 2006, 04:52
i just finished downloading a file named "__INCOMPLETE___electric light orchestra - 1976 bootleg - Freedom City Pandemonium (San Francisco Live)a168f916a0832234f655dba3867651cd03bddb6c00c00000ac4400000" it had no file extension so i played it as an mp3 file (that worked), and i gotta say it's just INCREDIBLE (...just like all the other elo music Smiley)

here's the track list: Poker-Nightrider-Eldorado Overture-Can't Get It Out Of My Head

but as it says it's incomplete so,
what i want to know is, does anyone here have a full version of that clip?
and if so, could you send it to me somehow?

and besides the info on the filename itself, all information about the soundclip and this concert is also welcome.

EDIT: sortly after i send this message a bunch of tracks from that concert appeared to ed2k -network Cheesy. either by coinsidence or because of this message i have no idea. but anyway. zillion thanks to the person sharing them.
7  ELOFANS.COM / ELO Audio and Video / I'VE GOT THE SECRET MESSAGES DOUBLE LP!!! on: Jun 17, 2006, 07:19

"Secret Messages like a double album doesn't exist. The fotos on eBay are only trick. Donť believe them. Thle album on eBay is only mp3 songs convert to double LP for profit."

So... where do you think the mp3's came from?

secret microphones hidden inside the walls of the recording studio, perhaps? :-P
8  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / Evil Woman Sample on Pussycat Dolls single on: Mar 21, 2006, 10:09
Damn Sony!   :x :  their CD:s (including some ELO CD:s) don't work on most machines, their machines don't work with most CD:s, their CD:s won't work on their machines, they are allways ripping off music from old songs to put on their "silicone idols's"(too ungifted to write their own songs) songs (not to point fingers on any artists), their CD-R/DVD+-R's have only 40% change of working with anything, some of their CD:s even infect computers (and other machines?) with malware, and......... i could go on for ever!    but i guess that isn't necessary. My point was that sony is evil!... or let's say eevelll!

does anyone have info on Sony actually doing something right/good (not counting normal record company business as something right)

9  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Confusion in the girl on: Jan 06, 2006, 04:01
hmmm... i wonder if all of us (elo fans) are considered beyond strange, because i sure am too :-), i would consider myself as crasy though :-P

and by the way: confusing people is fun :-D
10  ELOFANS.COM / ELO Audio and Video / RE: Am I the only one to have shivers ? on: Dec 31, 2005, 02:24
I LLLOVE THEIR MUSIC TOO!!!                 ... :-)

and no, you're not the only one who gets shivers when listening to ELO, i get them too, and sometimes they even last 3-14 minutes (usually just 30 seconds though)

and by the way i've just used the whole 30th of 12th listening to Jeff Lynne's songs :-D Wuhuu! :-D
11  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Re: RE: ELO in rock n roll hall of fame?.. on: Dec 29, 2005, 03:51
"Long Black Road (Electronic Reggae Version)" is the reggae song i was referring to, but i think the "Long Black Road (Japanese ZOOM Bonustrack)" is also reggae. actually even "Starlight" sounds a lot like slow reggae.

here's a short list of other catecories i can think of right now and examples from them:

disco: xanadu
progressive rock: Dreaming of 4000
pop: Julie Don't Live Here
rock: Poker, 10538 Overture
blues: Birmingham Blues
ballad: One Summer Dream
rock&roll: Don't Bring Me Down, Ma Ma Ma Belle
<-"Do Ya" and "Roll Over Beethoven" (are somewhere between these two catecories)->
classic rock: Tightrope, (Concerto for a rainy day) Standin' in The Rain, Mr. Blue Sky, The Diary of Horace Wimp
12  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Re: RE: ELO in rock n roll hall of fame?.. on: Dec 28, 2005, 01:02
well rock&roll hall of fame is just ROCK&ROLL hall of fame, and ELO music is so much, much more than just rock&roll (classic rock, rock&roll, reggae, disco, classic rock, progressive rock, pop, rock... and even more classic rock) :-)
13  ELOFANS.COM / ELO Audio and Video / RE: Unreleased Secret Messages Acetates up for bid on EBay on: Dec 19, 2005, 05:06
so, now it's sold. with a price of 6,850.00 US $
more than i will ever see on my livetime :-D

PS i noticed that i had written lazy with an s (i hope that lasy doesn't mean anything :-D)
14  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Re: Xanadu on: Dec 12, 2005, 08:40
"It only features on the 3 cd ELO compilation called 'Flashback' from 2000."

it's also on  "After Years" (Jeff Lynne Bootleg)  and  "All Over The World" (2005)
15  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Favourite album covers? on: Dec 07, 2005, 07:17
i think Out of the Blue has great covers (i'm a Sci-Fi fan too), but i can't decide if they're the best or the second best, New World Record in that case being the best (ELO logo rocks, and there's quite nice view in the background)
