7  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / TIME - concept masterpiece? on: Apr 05, 2006, 10:22
time is brilliant.  yes, it doesn't sound much like the elo hit making machine of the mid 70s, but that's okay with me.  twilight is my favorite elo song of all-time.

Lately i've been listening to Eldorado, I never took the time to listen to it before, cause I liked at the first site the other albums much more. But since I am recording an orchestrated album myself(www.alternativa.nl) I took a listen to Eldorado. What a FANTASTIC album. I got to be honest, I don't like all the songs on the album, I mostely like the overtures, the instrumental songs, really briljant! I'm telling you guys, Jeff IS from space, I've never heard something as good as this!

your band is AMAZING!  you even have a song, "shiny blue lights" that is exactly the type of thing we'd love to hear jeff do nowadays!  well, i would, anyway.  when i get paid on friday, i'll be buying your cd.

i guess i've never really introduced myself, either.  i'm a 37-year-old musician from philadelphia, pennsylvania.  i'd always appreciated elo from afar until early january of this year.  since then, i've spent hundreds of hours listening and being influenced by their music.  truly life-changing music for me.
12  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: ELO remasters on the way!! on: Mar 16, 2006, 11:48
this will be great!!  guess out of the blue will be in the second phase?  i'm okay with that, anyway...i'd rather seem them go in order like they're doing now.
13  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Re: Xanadu on: Mar 16, 2006, 11:44

14  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / RE: Re: Xanadu on: Mar 14, 2006, 11:50
i'm no longer worried.  they assured me that the cd is now on the way - everything is cool.
