The red, white and blue OLE ELO sold for approximately $952.05 US dollars!   Shocked

There are a couple of errors in the e-bay listing of the Wembley VHS, as well. He claims that there is "NO DVD AVAILABLE" (of course there is!) and even though he states that the concert took place in 1978, he adds the line "the 80's was a GREAT TIME FOR MUSIC!" Roll Eyes

From what I've gleaned from the Xanadu interviews with Jeff Lynne and Olivia Newton John, it must have been assumed that only Jeff was performing the songs. However he states, clearly and repeatedly, that he would indeed be performing the songs "with the band...ELO". He seemed to be trying to dispel rumors that he was flying solo on that one. But, for the other Xanadu artists to have thought that it was just him, it makes the interviews comments make more sense now. He wanted to make it known that it was to be an ELO work, and not just a Jeff Lynne project.

Wow! I bought the DVD on Ebay for under $10, shipping included! Maybe being VHS makes it a collectors item?? Cheesy

If memory serves, it was a BBC interview on the release of the album, where Jeff also describes how he wrote it in the Swiss Alps, and tells of the inspiration for the song. "It was dark and misty for 2 weeks, and I didn't come up with a thing. Suddenly the sun shone and it was, 'Wow, look at those beautiful Alps.' I wrote Mr. Blue Sky and 13 other songs in the next 2 weeks."

According to interviews, it does indeed say "please turn me over". You must remember, this was the last song on side 3 of a double album. Jeff Lynne was concerned that people would not take the time to listen to that 4th side, and therefore inserted the phrase, using vocoder, "Please turn me over" Listen carefully, you'll hear it clearly.
