Seems we're getting a tad spoiled for things that may never come to pass.

Why should they be remastered a second time? You'd be buying copies that may never be set in the proper tracjing order.

Be glad that Jeff was able to salvage what he could. I've a feeling there may be more in the future in one way or the other. A big chunk of it may have been destroyed or erased through Sony's mismanageing the acetetates.

I read on a fan site that it's up on ITunes already.

It is up on Itunes so it's available for download.

Well, Since I don't trust anything Apple makes. I'll have to get the hard copy when it becomes available.

Maybe if Jeff Lynne gets invited to the Carl Wayne tribute show ,and actually shows up! then there could be some interesting banter between Jeff,Roy and Bev (the original ELO) and who knows (In my Dreams of course) They could maybe work together again and maybe rekindle their enthuisiasm for the original concept! Now that would be BIG news and guarantee loads of media and fan interest!. As for Kelly and Mik ,well you cant blame them for trying to keep the sound alive I mean they are fine musicians but if only Jeff could forgive them for their "mortal sins" and draft them back HOME ,I mean its not as if any of the former ELO guys are setting the charts alight anymore BUT if there is a God then anything is possible. It would be HUGELY Successful! just think for a moment how exciting it would be!

Depends on how you look at it. Not everyone likes ELO in one way or another. It's just one of those things that has to grow on a person over time.
9  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / Re: ELO thoughts from a relatively new poster on: Jul 10, 2006, 08:47
Jeff doing drugs to get his inspirations? Hardly.

He's just good at doing what he does. Nothing more, nothing less.

15  ELOFANS.COM / Jeff Lynne and ELO / TIME - concept masterpiece? on: May 14, 2006, 08:45
The above message was mine. I forgot to log in. Doh!

So here it is again.

Time is one of those changing points in Jeff's life where he realized that the bigger sound wasn't necessarily the reason for ELO'S EVOLUTION. But he hit on themes that strangely came true.

I'll always see HERE IS THE NEWS as a black humor piece about how ironic it is that The 21st century's society STILL has to deal with internal conflict.

21st CENTURY MAN mostly seems to suggest how you as a person could be forgotten but you still do your best to adapt to the world around you.

TIME is a classic in my book. Smiley
