I'm led to believe that this song has only ever been played at an ELO convention and that perhaps that the recording I have and all ELO fans probably have is that actual recording? This would explain the awful sound quality. Plus, I noticed there's some clapping at the very beginning? I'd like to here other fans view on this. Cheers.

Yes, this is a recording of the german Face The Music fantreffen  meeting .

I have two versions of the song. One version was for sure sung by Jeff, but the other I can't tell....One says the words beatles Forever, and talks about how great thier songs are, while the other one doesn't even mention the word Beatles.Instead, it makes a song with using song quotes by the Beatles. I'm badly confused! :?

Man, I have also been fooled by this fake BJH Beatles Forever song. As it certainly isn't Jeff at the vocals I believed it could be Kelly as this voice on the song was somewhat similar to his. But when I heard the real one where Jeff sings it was clear that this was a different song. So, voila, i pushed the delete button, and Barclay james Harvest was gone, forever......

I got the song from a source that knows the guy who got the tape of it & was responsible for "Into The Light" double bootleg(which I use to get for a lot of people on my mini website) which has the song & many others that are hard to get or un-released. The track is a "Secret Messages" out-take. Someday maybe the original version of it as it was intended will be included on a double album of the original "SM". Who knows, right? *Judemac former member here*
