Author Topic: Face The Music...inbetween the tracks!  (Read 2283 times)

Something that has bugged me for years: In the late 70s, Iowned Face The Music in 8-track (stop laughing) or cassette or LP form, and there was short orchestral interludes between most of the tracks.

Imagine my horror, when yeras later, I get the cd, and discover that those interludes were gone. In fact, even the beginning part of Fire On High was slashed.

Did I just happen to get a version that was a mistake, and it was recalled? Is Face The Music in cd form today still a hatchett job?

Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere.

Cheers

Yeah, you got one of those "Face The Music" CDs that had singles versions on it, instead of the real tracks. It was a mistake and future versions don't have that problem. Chalk that up to record company ignorance!
