Balance Of Power is a really good album for its time and I think is underappreciated. I read Jeff actually likes this album and rates it as one of favourites!

1 - Zoom (Great tracks - especially A Long Time Gone!) 2 - OOTB (Great album, loved the spaceship) 3 - Eldorado (The great big orchestra theme and concept album idea were cool) 4 - FTM (Favourite track ever - Evil Woman! It's excellent!)

My all-time favorite has to be A NEW WORLD RECORD.
OUT OF THE BLUE is a really close second.
I would have to agree...!

I'm going for Discovery & A new world record. With the more recent stuff I think the music on Armchair Theatre is more memorable than what Jeff did with Zoom. Maybe it's the production that's different, but I felt it was an album that could have sounded better with some more of his trademark keyboard sounds or similar subtle touches. I prefer the type of production that was used with Secret Messages & all those brilliant little guitar bits that he used.

Oh my, difficult question. But... I'd have to say:
1. Eldorado- those beautiful, dreamy songs!
2. Secret Messages- love "Bluebird"
3. Time- great story.

My favourite album has to be Time. Every song on it is brilliant especially with the volume turned up. Out of the Blue is also right up there but unfortunately the album contains the only two Elo songs that i don't care for--Jungle and Birmingham Blues. Looking forward to the new album--does anyone know when it's being released ?

On The Third Day. Not as raw as the second album but not too polished like later ones

Here are my fave albums, including the ELO Part 2 stuff, from fave to least fave:
1) Time 2) Out Of The Blue 3) Balance Of Power (It would be #2 if it featured meaty drums instead of wimpy drums and real strings instead of synth strings) 4) A New World Record 5) Discovery 6) Zoom 7) Armchair Theatre 8. No Rewind (The Orchestra) 9) Secret Messages 10) Face The Music 11) ELO Part 2 12) Moment Of Truth (The Fox is an excellent song, worth the price of the album) 13) On the 3rd Day 14) Eldorado 15) ELO 2 16) ELO
